A bit about me..
Well I’ve only been diving for about 3 years now, but I have packed a fair bit into that time. I’m lucky enough to live in Poole Dorset, about 10 minutes from the sea. As a result I have a world of great diving on my doorstep.
I learned to Dive in menorca doing the PADI Open Water and Advanced Open water courses. On return to the UK I quickly found that I didn’t like the PADI system. I joined a PADI ‘club’, I wanted to go diving, they wanted to sell me courses. It didnt take me long to find a BSAC club and they were happy to train me whilst I dived.
In the last couple of years I’ve done a fair bit of training with a whole variety of agencies. I’ve done:
BSAC Sports Diver
BSAC Dive leader
BSAC Adv Nitrox and a variety of SDC’s
TDI Adv Nitrox & Deco procedures
IANTD Normoxic Trimix
IANTD Full trimix, meaning I’m now qualified to 100M
In addition to my home patch I’ve been lucky enough to dive in The red sea, Tobago, Antigua, Lundy, Ireland, Cornwall, Cyprus and Spain over the past couple of years. I intend to get to plenty more places in the coming years.
